A red pinto foal out of the legendary Þráinn. Móna is an above average sized mare who runs around in flexible gaits, showing tolt and trot.

Móna has a slim and long neck which is thin at the throat and very elegant.  Her legs are long, and she moves around in a very supple tolt mostly, with attractive trot sprints in between.  She was very easy to work with while we taught her to be halter trained, and the temperament is very cooperative.  The pictures show her with her mother Mist frá Holtsmúla 1 who is 5 years old and just started training.
