Private lessons

Úrvalshestar offer private riding lessons.  Each lesson is 45 minutes, and we can also provide a horse.

Our approach in our teaching is first and foremost to improve the confidence of the horse and rider.  Confidence comes from understanding the task at hand, and therefore, our job as instructors is to give clear and thorough explanations of the topic.  We combine theories and general knowledge from many sources in our teaching, for example equine biomechanics, horse psychology and ethology, and of course last not least, a thorough understanding of, and experience in riding and training all five gaits of the Icelandic horse.

Price per lesson is 60 euros

Price for leasing a horse for the lesson is 20 euros
