Seventeen foals were born this year just like the year before, but one had to be put down due to birth defects. It started with a black pinto filly of our dreams, a granddaughter of Kría, daughter of Erna and Aron frá Strandarhöfði. We got a very big portion of stud foals, but in the end the last three mares to foal brought fillies, making the ratio being even in the end, 8:8 of live foals. Probably the most interesting foal this year was a grey stud colt out of Krummi frá Blesastöðum, and Auður frá Neðra-Seli. He is interesting because he was carried by a foster mother, and Auður was being trained in the meantime. That all went well, but the colt strongly resembles his biological mother in looks and movement. Stallions used this year were Aron frá Strandarhöfði (8), and one out of Orri frá Þúfu, Dynur frá Hvammi, Stáli frá Kjarri, Ægir frá Litla-Landi, Kjarni frá Þjóðólfshagi, Grunur frá Oddhóli, Adam frá Ásmundarstöðum, Brjánn frá Neðra-Seli, and Þorsti frá Garði.
